Sigh, the beauty of digital marketing is there are CONSTANT changes. Here’s another one!
On 30 June, 2021, Facebook Analytics is going away and with it potentially the ability to create SOME custom audiences. They’ll be switching audiences to be pixel based, which sucks because the new iOS means pixel data isn’t as accurate as it used to be.
So here’s what’s on your to do list - create the following audiences by 30 June:
Post Reactions in the last 1, 7, 28, 90, and 180 days
Post Comments in the last 1, 7, 28, 90, and 180 days
Post Shares in the last 1, 7, 28, 90, and 180 days
Need help in figuring out how to do that? You can either get in touch with me and I’ll happily walk you through it OR you can follow the wonderful instructions Jon Loomer provides here.
Why are these audiences important? They’re more focussed than the broader “engaged in any post or ad” and will likely result in better results in "warmer” remarketing campaigns and create even better lookalike audiences.
